This was Grif's 1st Oktoberfest! Mike and I took Griffin downtown today to meet Aunt Heather and Grandma for some yummy treats and good times. I think we all had a fantastic time drinking beer and sampling German eats. Mommy was excited to sip some cool refreshing Christian Morlein beer which she couldn't enjoy last year because she was pregnant with the Grif man. Yum! Another one of the Poast favorites is Izzy's potato pancake. What a treat for us. Griffin enjoyed watching all the people enjoying themselves and hearing the sounds of traditional German music. Although he missed the chicken dance yesterday and was not able to enjoy a beer, Griffin will have plenty of opportunity to aquire a love for Cincinnati's German heritage. Prost!
