JuJu's visit

JuJu came to visit this week! She drove up on Sunday and got here very early on Monday morning. This week has been so busy with shopping, Chuck E Cheese, playing outside, and cooking. We had a fantastic visit with her but of course as always, it was way too short.
When she arrived on Monday we were in the midst of playing with Lillian, so she rested and played with us for the remainder of the day. Tuesday we left the house early to take Grif for his first visit to Chuck E Cheese! Oh boy, what a fun time we had! He had a blast riding all the rides, eating pizza, playing games and even seeing Chuck! We had to literally drag him out of there. I am sure we will return to spend the leftover tokens we have.
Wednesday Kathleen had some errands to run with her, so Grif and I stayed home with Lillian while the two of them ventured out on the third consecutive cold and rainy day. But, Thursday was another fun-filled day with JuJu. We had a portrait session at JCPenny early which did not go well. For some reason Grif did not want to cooperate. Despite the tears and attitude, our photographer was amazing and did capture some smiles on camera. After that, we treated Griffin to his first happy meal! I think we have another gourmet chef on our hands. He decided it was a good idea to dip those chicken nuggets in the caramel dipping sauce that was meant for the apples. He seemed to love it! Look out Chef Heather!
We were sure when we left McDonald's that he was worn out and would take a good nap, but when we got home he was wide awake and ready to ride on his car and play in his giant ball. We got some cute pictures.
Today we went to the park for some more fun in the sun and a picnic. It is finally a beautiful day for us to run and burn off some energy!
JuJu just left a few minutes ago and we already miss her. The month and a half that we have until we see her again at the beach is going to go very slowly. Thanks JuJu for everything and we can't wait to play some more.
