Sunday was our day to visit Kings Island for Mike's company picnic. We had such a fantastic time. We ended up being at the park from 10:30 to 7:00! The weather was warm, but not too hot. The crowds were big, but we stayed mostly in the Nickelodeon area which wasn't too busy. I was a little disappointed in the number of rides for toddlers. Griffin would have been perfectly happy to ride the park train ALL DAY LONG, but we did get to ride a few other things. He enjoyed rides like the Scooby Doo adventure, an airbus ride, the carousel, and another small train ride. We spent a lot of time walking around checking out the big rides and their long lines, but Mike and I decided to go back later in the fall so that we could ride the more adult things. We visited the water park where there were a lot of small slides and climbing things for Griffin to enjoy. He and Mike went down a tube slide that was probably the highlight of both of their days. I tried to capture all the smiles in a few pictures. We definitely are looking forward to next year as Griffin grows and will be able to enjoy more stuff.
