Happy Mother's Day

Yesterday was my 3rd Mother's Day actually being a mom. We treated Becky Jane to a wine and cheese picnic in Ault Park. Griffin had a blast playing and running at the playground while the rest of us sipped on our wine. It was the most beautiful day to be enjoying ourselves outside. After we left the park we returned home for a little rest. Our plan was to go to Colerain Park with some chicken and spent a little time just the 3 of us before Mike headed out of town for four days for his new job training. But, after resting a bit, we were all too tired for another trip to the park. We ended up just spending a nice evening at home with our chicken. I think Griffin had his Mother's and Father's Day holidays mixed up. He decided over the past several days to start calling out for Mike. Now, he is saying 'dada' all the time. Maybe when Father's Day rolls around he will decide it is time to start calling me 'mommy'! Happy Mother's Day!
